Model Agency IMG’s Catalogue of Talent

Trolling through hundreds of beautiful models trying to choose the right face for your brand. What a tough, laborious job.

Model Agency IMG has created a fresh partly illustrated catalogue of their top talent for the upcoming 2013 Spring Summer. They are a renowned agency with famed models on their books. The choice of that ever trendy lo-fi shots may have something to do with their highly ranked business and comfortable success.

Instead of the usual glossy shots of brushed models IMG are so secure in their talent they have opted not only to go for stripped back shots but stylised even further by illustrating over large portions of the models. This is a pretty bold move if you consider the “end user” will be looking for body statistics and how clothes hang off their skeletal frames.

Tough, tough job.

All in all a refreshing piece of work. While I enjoy it from a design point of view I’m unconvinced it is going to fly with their demanding clients.
